Plump DJs 'Eargasm'
July 7th sees the release of the most anticipated album of the year from Finger Lickin's Plump DJs. "Eargasm" is the name of their debut artist album, -and I bet you can't wait to get your filthy mits on it! The 13-track offering is chocca with the fat juiciness you'd expect from the boys, with amazing collaborations from Louise Rhodes from Lamb and electro-pioneer and all-round hero Gary Numan. With an Australian tour this October, this one is going to be hot!

Hydrogen Dukeboxe's A1 people mix Blondie! Yes it is true, 80's superheronie Debbie Harry gets her strings pulled by A1 People's knob twiddling. This one is sure to be worth a fortune so get hunting!

This months feature artist
When A.R.E Weapons hit the Australian shores last month, they intrigued more than a few people with their DIY New York attitude. They have been described by some as "the most thrilling Rough Trade Records band" to break out of New York City after The Strokes. Their self titled album is currently out on Rough Trade and is scuzzed up dirtbomb electro car wreck hip hop from the gutters of NYC. Picture SUICIDE, LOU REED, CABARET VOLITAIRE and WU TANG CLAN stuffed into a black Mercedes with the bass cranked full. Listen to this album at high volume..

"I love A.R.E. Weapons because they have the chicest audience - lots of models," Fisherspooner
