If you have purchased any internet tickets you MUST
if at all possible come in and pick them up from our office in Fitzroy at the times below to avoid chaos at the gate. It doesn't take long and will save you the stress on the night when you would rather be having a good time.
We are also encouraging people to come as early as possible so the gate will now be open from Thursday afternoon from 6 pm.
Remember early birds get primo camp spots and late arrivals get to walk for miles and miles.
The no BYO rule
A few people have asked/commented about the no byo rule this year. This one is out of our hands - on that weekend the whole of the Greater City of Shepparton Shire has a no drinking in public places ban. This is mainly due to Spring Nats (rev head extravaganza) in Shepparton, but it also applies to us and everyone else in the Shire.
You can be personally fined for drinking ANYWHERE in the whole Shire that is not a licensed area walking down the street etc etc. Again avoid the grief, and leave it at home.
Usual Rules
No dogs or other pets, no fires or naked flames,
extinguish your butts, naked butts ok, no passouts after Saturday midday.
Helpful hints
Bring a torch, Loud music can damage your hearing,
earplugs available for free at information before driving home stop at the TAC reviver station on your way out, If in doubt visit first aid they are there for your benefit, Don't camp directly under tree branches, Be careful swimming in the river, submerged logs, large cod and other hazards. Bin your waste - bags at info if required Look after your mates,(eg do not leave trashed friends alone in a tent or vehicle for hours and hours).
