House Godfather's Brother Is Dirty Harry-Style Cop

House pioneer Marshall Jefferson chatted to Skrufff this week about his fantastic upcoming retrospective house compilation (Move Your Body- The Evolution of Chicago House: 1980-1990) and revealed that his only brother works as a detective on the notoriously mean streets of American city Chicago.

"My brother's a cop, he's like Dirty Harry, he goes to the firing range four days a week and stays for three hours," said Marshall.

"I used to live with him for a while, after I moved to England because I kept my place on in Chicago for six or seven years and I'd travel back and forth," he recalled.

"Every time I'd go home I'd have to announce myself when I got back, 'Scott, it's me, your brother, Marshall. Don't shoot!' Because he always used to complain that he didn't have anybody to shoot."
