Handlebar Moustaches Tipped As Next Big Thing

GQ magazine editor Dylan Jones sparked controversy this week by announcing that moustaches are 'the must-have fashion accessory of the year'.

Explaining the editor's somewhat surprising assertions, GQ deputy editor Bill Prince said that most men fantasise about facial hair, claiming "all of us secretly toy with the idea of growing a moustache- what it would look like and how it would feel." (Telegraph).

One man already backing the hirsute trend is club-land figure Adam Sky (aka Adamski), who's well contoured tache means he's increasingly compared to Clarke Gable, though celebrity London hairdresser Daniel Hersheson predicts more mainstream celebs will need to ditch their razors, before the fashion properly kicks in.

"It could be six months before we see proper moustaches on their own," said celebrity London hairdresser Daniel Hersheson

"It would help if an icon like David Beckham grew one."
