Manchester acid house/ drum & bass pioneer Gerald Simpson (aka A Guy Called Gerald) has recruited bad boy singer Finlay Quaye to add vocals on his new track, a soulful garage tinged tune called Strangest Stranges.

The legendary artist spoke to Skrufff last year and revealed his deeply spiritual approach to how he lives his life and makes music.

"Look into yourself first and ask yourself, 'What do you think is wrong and what do you think is right-' he advised.

"If you're going to go and ask someone else, there's lots of people who'll even tell you for profit, but at the end of the day they'll be steering you down the wrong road."

"I don't think it has anything to do with leaders, it's just about people stopping for a while and checking themselves and what they're about, even if they're religious," he suggested.

Strangest Changes is out on !K7 Records on September 15.
