Jan/ Feb 2004 sees the first cd release on London label Ragbull.

Founded by ex Nuphonic man Jools Butterfield and Tom and Andy of Groove Armada, Ragbull's "Doin After Dark" will be it's 10th release, following on from the success generated by the 12" projects released over the last year.

Doin After Dark is the first in a series of compilations presented by the world's DJ's and artists, picking out their favourite dancefloor material and mixing it up on CD, and also releasing a double vinyl format, with help from live instrumentation and vocals.

Groove Armada are now household names throughout the world, recently releasing their 4th LP Lovebox to great success including a number of chart successes. They have recently completed a sell out world tour and continue to pack out their club events, Lovebox, in venues around the country.

Doin After Dark features a number of tracks chosen by Groove Armada and Jools, some from recent US and European releases and a few tracks chosen from the last few years. One notable track is "Unknown DJ" by Basstronic, much sought after electro/house track made in LA in the late eighties, and now changing hands for $80 !!.

Two Ragbull tracks go on the CD, check out the dancefloor pressure of the previously released "Poppin and Pimpin" from the Pyromaniac Gardners, and also previously unreleased "Line Chant" from forthcoming Ragbull artist Igloo.
Chicken Lips are everpresent with their own "He Not In" and their mix of Headman "It Rough", huge tune from this year Insignificant Others and "It's Me" is included, and the hard to find 12" mix of Tiefschwartz "No More Trouble".

If all that wasn't enough there is also music from Blackstrobe (their mix of Playgroup's "Number One"), Iz and Diz on Classic and tracks from Missive, Grand Central and NRK.

Lots of excellent grooves to choose from mixed in their unique dancefloor friendly fashion by Groove Armada, with extra fizz from the talents of percussionist Patrick Dawes (Tummy Touch) and vocals by Madd Mc.

Look out for forthcoming releases on Ragbull from Igloo, Gavin Hardkiss, Gekko, Duji and Supertanker.
