The ultra-flamboyant producer of electro anthem La La Land re-embraced his punk interests last year he told Skrufff in a recent interview, declaring 'punk is to me a nihilistic way of expressing yourself.'
"I've always had a punk attitude in me, but I hadn't as yet expressed it through my music," he explained.
"But rather than being a punk, I'd say I'm more punk inspired."
Also well known for masquerading as deep house type Cajmere (as well as by his real name of Curtis A Jones) the Chicago based don sees no conflict on his split personality approach to making music.
"I'm not a schizophrenic, so the image doesn't take over from who I am and it doesn't take control over situations I find myself in," he said.
"Yes, it makes me more extreme I guess, but hey, we all like to dress up when we go out."
Tickets cost £15, The End: Sunday April 22.00 - 7am
