Progressive house specialists Global Underground are releasing a series of new compilation albums and DVD and sponsoring numerous arenas at international dance festivals, they announced this week

"Global Underground is back and once again firing on all cylinders," they said.

"After a slight blip in January things are once again looking good, and the label that last year released some great albums including James Lavelle, Afterhours and Electric Calm is back for more."

The surprisingly upbeat message came a month after the compilations company 'voluntarily appointed administrators to restructure the company' sparking numerous rumours on the web that the company had collapsed.

"It's fair to say that this current recession will not beat us, we'll just come back fighting, fitter and stronger," they stressed in the new statement.

"Dance Music is a community; let's keep that spirit alive, they concluded. "And remember- don't take life too seriously."
