The Chemical Brothers will be going up against a Warp records extravaganza at this year's Glastonbury Festival, headlining the event's Dance tent at the same time as Warp host the festival's newest musical space the Glade.

While 2 Many DJs, Erol Alkan and Jacques Lu Cont will be peforming in the Chemical's tent, Warp are offering sets from AFX DJ, Plaid (live), Chris Clark (live) and others, from 18.00 until 4am Sunday morning. Other confirmed notable acts at this year's event include Radiohead, Fatboy Slim, Death In Vegas and Express 2 (all on Friday) and The Streets, The Rapture and Moby (Sunday).

The Chemicals' set though will DJing rather than a live show, though the duo are likely to be dropping lots of their own tunes, judging by comments Tom made about the duo's DJing in an interview with Skrufff last year.

"The fact that we make records and play records is closely linked," said Tom.

"We always feel that's our special weapon for our DJing; having this music that other people don't have."

The duo are also set to release a greatest hits compilation album sometime around September and are currently asking fans to help them decide its track-listing, via their website. For more information, click here:
