Future DJ Rocks Revolver

On Thursday 11th September Revolver Upstairs was host to the Future DJ Southern Regional Final. DJ's from Monash University, RMIT, Chisholm and William Angliss Tafes competed for a spot at the Future DJ Final at the Prince of Wales infront of a wall to wall and very appreciative crowd.

"It was amazing to see the night unfold. We had DJs playing Drum n' Bass to House to Trance - all of which rocked the place in their 15 minutes of fame," explains Future DJ Director Ravi Chand.

Chand went further to say, "Everyone I spoke to, including conversations I overheard from the judges to patrons to venue staff to even the DJs themselves were impressed with the event and standard of DJs".

The Future DJ Southern Regional Final winners - Sam Young (RMIT) and Mike G (William Angliss) will now go onto the Future DJ Final to be held at the Prince of Wales on Thursday 16th October.

The last of the Future DJ Regional Final series will be held at Room 680 on Saturday 27th September (Grand Final Night) and rumour has it that Chand and Room 680 are working on an impressive support line up which include some of Melbourne's finest dance DJs who will perform before and after the competition.

The Future DJ Eastern Regional Final will showcase DJs competing from Deakin University, Swinburne University and Holmesglen Tafe and after the success of the Future DJ Southern Regional at Revolver promises to be an exciting event.
