Ben Rymer from dour Northern electroclash band Fat Truckers criticises dressed up London clubbers in the latest issue of Mixmag, sneering 'We're northern lads, we're not poncing about in batwing jumpers. Despite Rymer's beerboy style fashion-phobia, the Sunday Times revealed last week that the Fat Truckers' music is now particularly popular on Paris fashion catwalks, though suggested the band won't care.

"There's definitely a Sheffield sense of humour," said Rymer.

"It probably comes about because life here is such a pile of shit."
