Duran Duran Save A Prayer

Seminal 80s electro-popsters Duran Duran look poised to stage a major comeback with the release of a box set featuring all their 12 inch singles plus a new album deal reportedly worth £25million ($38million).

The original line-up recently got back together after almost 20 years apart, while their old label EMI this week unveiled details of a 13CD box set, coming out in May.

NME, meanwhile, suggested the band are back in the studio, plotting a dramatic new relaunch.

"Some people may say Duran Duran are a bit long in the tooth," an unnamed 'music industry insider' told the rock weekly.

"But when the guys sign the new huge record deal, people will begin to remember why they are such a great band." (NME)
