Dave Clarke's Sex Appeal Secret

Dave Clarke's constant references to his ridiculously expensive Mercedes saloon car (S500 model) could be a subliminal attempt to woo the ladies, judging by a new poll examining what women look for when seeking a lover.

According to the survey for upmystreet.com, women look first for 'a good sense of humour' (not the quality most frequently associated with the techno don) followed by 'similar political leanings' (which could also disqualify Clarke from any left leaning ladies). However, most also prefer 'a nice car' ahead of 'good looks', The Standard revealed this week, suggesting he could still be onto a winner.

However, despite the survey's surprising results, the happily married Brighton jock is probably just indulging his own Marc Bolan style selfish vices, at least judging by his comments in the latest issue of Mixmag,

"I love cars- I fucking adore cars", said Clarke.

"You tell me one boy that doesn't."
