Dave Clarke London Gig Disrupted by Tear Gas

Scores of clubbers were discomforted at last night's System event, after a CS gas type substance percolated through the central London club.

The incident happened around 11.30 pm as the club filled up with revellers arriving to hear Dave Clarke mixing his first London DJ set of the year and led to a 20 minute break in music as security opened fire doors to ventilate the premises and search for the gas' source.

The first sign of something wrong came as numerous clubbers in the bar area began coughing, though nobody appeared to be seriously affected throughout the entire period. Music was subsequently restored and though some people left following the incident, a packed crowd heard him playing a largely old techno school set.
