Darren Emerson's Underwater @ Pacha Overflows

Fatboy Slim, Tim Westwood and Tim Deluxe DJed at the opening night of Darren Emerson's new solo season at Pacha, this week and filled the Ibiza superclub by 1am, Darren told Skrufff this week.

""It was f**king amazing, mate," said Darren, speaking down the line from the poolside of his luxury mansion in the hills.

"Tuesdays has always been hard at Pacha, so I was quite nervous beforehand but it was packed by 1am while usually the club gets busy around 3am," he said.

"It was one of the best nights I've had in there and I'm not just saying that because it was my own event."

The Underwater chief added that he's particularly pleased with his decision to intoduce hip hop and R&B into Pacha's main back room, pointing out 'the girls seemed to like it too'.

No-one has really done hip hop and R&B over here and we wanted to do something different," said Darren.

Tim Westwood went down really well, he was good and it's great to have him over, he's really funny. He loved it. Next week we've got the Scratch Perverts followed by Krafty Cuts, Gilles Peterson and Trevor Nelson and Tim's coming back three more times over the course of the season.

Underwater is at Pacha every Tuesday.
