A person posing as superstar DJ Danny Tenaglia posted a ridiculous message on leading New York message-board Rob Promotions this week, calling on clubbers to anonymously inform on other clubbers using drugs.

The message was posted the day after cops shut down Manhattan superclubs Exit and Sound Factory and was clearly written by somebody with detailed knowledge of Tenaglia's life.

"Just like I did at my party I am asking everyone to immediately and anonymously get the attention of a security post or club manager and point out the person you just witnessed selling or blatantly doing something illegal like popping a pill or snorting powders," the message said.

"You are not being a rat by doing this; you are saving our parties and our jobs."

The message continued with a detailed rant about supposed warehouse parties linked to the veteran jock though betrayed its lack of authenticity by branding drug using clubbers as 'undesirable and evil people', language more commonly used by the likes of the DEA.

Danny's manager confirmed to Skrufff that no such message had originated from him, saying 'I have never posted on any message boards.'
