Carl Cox's label sideman DJ C1 jets off to China shortly for a weekend of DJing at Beijing's Club Vogue. The technically accomplished jock, well known for his love of techno, will be spinning a three hour 'House' set on Friday and a three hour 'Techno' set on Saturday, though both sets are likely to be varied.

I've never been a beats nazi where I pre-prepare my set and force people to listen to it regardless," C1 told Skrufff in a recent interview.

"I'm a music lover of many different styles and the basis of my taste is black American soul music."

Also visiting China soon is the world's most successful DJ Paul Oakenfold, who plays a set on the world's longest tourist attraction, the Great Wall on Saturday 19 April. Just 400 tickets are being made available to the public.
