Chicago House DJ Recovering Well After Losing His Leg

Acclaimed veteran house DJ/producer Paul Johnson, who underwent two operations to have his left leg amputated last week, is out of danger and convalescing in hospital, his label Dust Trax announced this week.

The renowned house player DJed for some years from a wheelchair, after being wounded by a stray bullet, though is now firmly on the road to recovery, said Dust Traxx.

"Paul Johnson's spirits are high, and he wishes to thank everyone who has sent positive thoughts and prayers his way during this stressful time," they said.

"Paul has asked us to update the public regarding his condition, and he requests your continued prayers and thoughts. He also wishes to assure everyone that with your love, prayers, and support that once recuperated he plans to take us all on a wild ride as only he can. Until further notice though, all scheduled appearances and tours are cancelled."
