Cannibal Cuisine- Everyone At Risk

Top German Criminal psychologist Rudolph Egg claimed this week that cannibal killer Armin Meiwes was 'merely satisfying a need to have another person close to him', when he flambeed, killed and devoured 43 year old victim Bernd-Jurgen Brandes.

"When you have sex with someone, you have a very high level of personal contact with them," Herr Egg (head of Germany's Criminology Institute) told the Independent.

"Sexual cannibalism is just a more extreme version: It is the 'highest' form of intimate behaviour."

The criminologist's comments came months after the New York Times reported that virtually the entire human race could be genetically programmed to enthusiastically eat each other, if given half a chance.

"Deep in the recesses of the human heart, there may lie a depraved craving: for the forbidden taste of human flesh," said The Times.

"The basis for this morbid accusation, made by a team of researchers in London, is a genetic signature, found almost worldwide, that points to a long history of cannibalism."
