BBC3 to compile a documentary on Shaun Ryder

The legendary but completely crazy front man of 'Happy Mondays' Shaun Ryder has granted BBC3's documentary maker Richard Macer permission to make him the subject of a forthcoming documentary.

Macer will spend four months with Ryder and the doco is expected to air later this year.

Macer told Broadcast magazine, "He is a living legend but most people wonder why he is still alive."
