Anne Savage & Lisa Lashes Headline Tidy's Next Weekender (October 4)

Tidy Trax have started selling tickets for their latest hard house extravaganza which takes place over the weekend of October 4-6 at their usual location of Prestatyn's Pontins holiday camp, North Wales. Headline DJs include Tidy regulars Anne Savage and Lisa Lashes with additional DJs set to include Eddie Halliwell, Scot Project, Andy Farley, BK.

All three previous weekenders have sold out months in advance, and Tidy marketing chief Richard Skaife expects the upcoming event to be similarly over subscribed, he said this week.

"Once again its time for Tidy to prove that clubbing in the UK is alive and well," said Richard.

"We urge any one who does not want to be left out in the cold to book at the first available opportunity."

Tidy boss Andy Pickles (who'll be DJing as usual as one half of the Tidy Boys) spoke to Skrufff earlier this year and conceded that the venue's charms remain distinctly old fashioned.

"Pontins is everything that you'd expect it to be, the holiday camps haven't really changed from the 50s and 60s," he admitted.

"There are three standards of accommodation with the VIP chalets being decent apartment type spaces, going down to what's called the Popular Accommodation, which are basically student digs- basic rooms. But people aren't really there to sleep, they're there to have a good time, meet up with their mates and enjoy three days of seaside madness. That's the appeal of the weekenders."
