Civil liberties group The Drug Policy Alliance (DPA) issued an alarming new alert this week warning that clubbers could soon find themselves targeted in America's 'War on Terror'.

"Senators are working on a controversial bill that could punish non-violent drug offenders as terrorists," said the DPA.

"We can't afford any illusions. If the war on terrorism is as unsuccessful as the failed war on drugs, we're all in big trouble."

The DPA are also heavily involved in a protest against the RAVE act, which takes place in Washington DC next Saturday (September 6) from 1pm. New York legend Junior Vasquez will be performing at the event, which organisers are expecting will attract thousands of clubbers.

Dance for your rights. U.S. Capitol, Washington DC. 1pm onwards, Saturday September 6
