Why did the two forces Elementz and Localmotion come together- What are the advantages of joining forces-
As the saying goes two headz are better than one. It definitely helps the scene to grow when the crews work together. Workload is also shared equally which is a good thing.
What do you have lined up for the evening-
DJs' one's gonna be a caner! Better known for their 'techsteppin' sounds, DJ OPTIV(C4C) + POTS (Bulletproof) have already warned that they will be travelling with a barrage of phat dubs. Quality beatz will be on the agenda with support coming from Fletch, Seven Blanco, JPS, SKAM + MC Danyellsun.
What sort of reaction do you hope to inspire in your crowd-
All I care is that everyone present is havin' a F#@ken good time!
Why should people come to this event-
DJ Optiv & Pots are the future of Drum & Bass and are already recognised worldwide for their work as DJs & producers. Doorprices for this one is only $25 compared to other recent international gigs, expect nothing but friendly faces, good vibes and wicked tunes!!
What are you most looking forward to on the night-
When the bass kicks in @ 11pm!! There will be additional sound/subs on the night so expect the bass to get heeeeaaaavvvvyyy!
How healthy is the local dnb scene at the moment-
It's really good. A few crews in da scene doin' their own thing (promoters/ DJs/producers) and getting D N B to a bigger audience. 2003 looks like a good year for Melbourne dnb.
What does Elementz have in store for dnb fans down the track-
Currently we run a mthly local movement @ Deep 11 called BASSIX. It is on every 3rd Sat of the month and showcases our local & interstate talents. A few big name internationals are also being planned up till July. We're also working on a new website and getting ourselves more involved in production. Busy!
