UK electro queen Alison Goldfrapp highlighted why always mixing drug use with clubs is wrong this week, telling NME, 'Whenever I've done drugs I've always done them at home with friends.

That to me is decadence, because you can do everything that you can't do in a public place."

The notoriously fierce chanteuse stressed the same point in another feature in the Guardian, which also appeared this week.

"There was a time during my teenage years when everyone was doing ecstasy and going out to raves and I was at home listening to Kate Bush," she said.

Goldfrapp's new single Strict Machine is out shortly.
