Philadelphia poet/ hip hop artist Ursula Rucker has teamed up again with fellow Philly producer King Britt and guests on his new single 'Supernatural'. The duo last worked together on Ursula's impressive debut album Supa Sister, and speaking to Skrufff at the time, she revealed an intense belief in the paranormal.

"I grew up catholic and my mother's mother was like a seer, a gypsy of sorts, she used to do tarot," said Ursula. "I come from people who believe."

"When I was young I would always be reading two books; 'The Lives of the Saints' and 'Greek And Roman Mythology', so I always believed in some kind of spirituality and some other shit that we can't conceive of. I would never believe that there's just us here with no mystery. There are too many coincidences that happen to me that can't be chalked up as coincidences."

As well as revealing her belief in the occult, she also admitted to maintaining a passionate relationship with house music.

"House music was what got me through my college days and early 20s. I used to go clubbing every single week when I was single and I'd go to try and get lost in the music- to forget about the fact that I was so lonely," she said.

"It gave me a great escape. I love house music and I'll always love it."

King Britt Presents Firefly featuring Ursula Rucker: Supernatural, is out shortly on Slip N Slide Records, with remixes by Derrick Carter, Soul Providers and Hardsoul.
