Tommie Sunshine Heads Up Bis' Remix Album
Felix Da Housecat collaborator Tommie Sunshine is one of three electro (clash) producers to remix the new album by Scottish former popsters Bis. Joining in for the band's latest album Plastique Nouveau are Detroit's Ectomorph and ADULT (also from Detroit).

The band's career path has curved along a highly unusual trajectory, starting out as indie pop hopefuls in the UK in 1996 and proteges of the Beastie Boys. "Equally respected in both the punk and electronic communities but reviled by those who can't bear to see the two mixed" as their official biography concedes,
their career rapidly foundered though nowadays they find themselves superbly positioned in today's electro scene.

Plastique Nouveau is out now on SpinArt Records

Psychic Warriors Ov Gaia Unleash Their Secret Key
Long term associates of much misunderstood alternative genius Genesis P Orridge, Dutch duo Psychic Warriors have always created music of unusual depth and originality and The Key, a compilation of 10 tracks including 8 previously unreleased remixes shows why. Specialists in creating genuinely hypnotic through relentlessly pounding rhythms and otherworldly tunes, they became one of the most popular draws on the early 90s live electronic music scene, regularly (out) performing the likes of Orbital and The Orb.

Masters of trance and techno when both styles remained experimental, the duo are understood to be discussing a live comeback, which, on the strength this impressive double CD is both justified and welcome.
