UK Clubland's 900,000 Dancefloor Disciples

900,000 "Dancefloor Disciples" aka "hardcore movers and groovers" exist in the UK, The Guardian reported last week, in an analysis of data provided by youth marketing specialists MediaCom.

According to the report, typical "disciples" live near the urban areas of London, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool, with more than half being under 24.

Examining their footwear seems the best way of spotting the "Disciples" since, "It is highly probable that they have bought a pair of Nike trainers in the past 12 months."
