One of six British women have secret affairs and one in seven have had drunken fights, according to two new surveys examining 21st century British ladies. The unfaithful types who owned up in Top Sante magazine's new survey of 2,000 women, were also adept at concealing their bad behaviour, with just 25% of their partners ever finding out about their affairs (while women 'nearly always' discovered their men's infidelity.)

Meanwhile, the street fighting ladies revealed in Company magazine's survey of alcohol use also regularly lost their keys (20%) while 40% of 16-34 year olds confessed to being so drunk on occasion that they had little or no recollection of the night before.

"Women cannot drink like men," Andrew McNeill from the Institute of Alcohol Studies warned in the Telegraph.

"That is not sexual bigotry, it is medical reality. Those who try are putting themselves at risk."
