Tragic Death Mars London Be-In

19 year old Briton Giles Norman died after leaping off a balcony at last weekend's Human Be-In at the Hackney Ocean, London. The teenager had been celebrating his birthday at the politically inspired club night, and according to reports in the media, stripped to his underpants before jumping to his death.

"A young guy who the papers say was 19, jumped off one of the side balconies to die 60 hours later. Who knows what was in his mind, the war perhaps-" asked event organiser Fraser Clark, referring to the massive anti-war demo which took place in London the following day.

"Well, of course it was, it was on everyone's mind at some level. The war is just part of the technically insane world we live in.How sad. Is such personal suffering an inevitable part of Life, or just of Modern Life-" he concluded.
