This Year's Legalise Cannabis Day is Saturday May 4

Cannabis activists have set the date for this year's co-ordinated legalise cannabis demonstrations as May 4, which should see marches and free festivals taking place in over 200 cities. Though the location of London's festival is still be to confirmed it's expected to be Brockwell Park (Brixton) which has hosted London's last two Legalise Cannabis events.

Thirty thousand smokers and revellers braved torrential rains last year, for an event that is one of the best free rave-style gatherings in the UK. With cannabis looking like being downgraded to Class C this year (still illegal but meaning users should escape arrest) countless more spokers are likely to turn up. Manchester and Birmingham will also be staging festivals.
