Norwegian K Is Out Of The Blue
Norwegian drum & bass star K (aka Polar) releases a new album on Certificate 18 shortly, which presents a significant step towards breakbeat. Out Of The Blue combines the glacially cool scenic-style drum & bass, he's currently best known for with slowed down, funked up new productions that have presumably been inspired by his recent move to San Francisco.

Still just 23 years old, Polar is already a hugely talented producer who looks certain to emulate the worldwide success of fellow Scandinavian (Swedish) producer Adam Beyer. Out Of The Blue is out now.

Percy X Would Rather Jack Than Fleetwood Mac
Scottish techno type Percy X releases a new single Time To Jack shortly featuring a twisted electro remix from Radioactive Man (aka Keith Tenniswood). Also included on the vinyl EP is Club x, the most disco-ified cut from his recent album Where's The Music.

My whole approach was to be honest about what music I was playing and I've recently been doing a lot of warm-up sets with electro mixed up with looped stuff," Percy told Skrufff.

"People in Glasgow know that I'm not band-wagon jumping, I'm just going with the flow."
