The Right Time For Crack Cocaine-

Crack cocaine has halved in price and is "the drug of choice for many clubbers", according to a report in this week's Observer. Teenagers and city executives are also reported to be embracing the highly addictive drug.

"We have reports of City workers who use the drug," said substance abuse specialist Adam Frankland. "One of the effects of crack is to increase the amount of adrenaline in the body and we find that, with this kind of user, a huge part of the buzz is linked to going out and getting it."

According to the Observer, cocaine dealers are a key factor behind the rise, with some introducing smaller "clubbing rocks" and others telling customers they've run out of powder cocaine. The trend illustrates the dangers that prohibition of less dangerous drugs like ecstasy and cannabis can bring, forcing users into the unregulated criminal markets.

According to cocaine.org, the only appropriate time to take crack is when a person is suffering from a terminal illness, facing imminent death.

"Here is perhaps a single predictable time of life when taking crack-cocaine is sensible, harmless and both emotionally and intellectually satisfying," they say, suggesting it should be combined with heroin and alcohol to form a fatal dose.

"Drawing life to a close with a transcendentally orgasmic bang, and not a pathetic and god-forsaken whimper, can turn dying into the culmination of one's existence rather than its present messy and protracted anti-climax."
