British=, Danish and Australian authorities have issued additional warnings about potential bomb attacks in Thailand with beach resort Phuket singled out as the most at-risk hotspot.

"We know from the Bali experience that you can't be too cautious and we have had some information in relation to Phuket," Australia's foreign minister Alexander Downer told the Guardian. Danish ambassador to Thailand Ulrik Helweg-Larsen agreed warning "the Ministry has received information that terror attacks against tourist areas in Thailand might be under preparation. Localities like Phuket, including Patong beach, can be among potential targets."

Phuket is apparently particularly vulnerable because of its proximity to the Malaysian border where Islamic militants are believed to hiding out, suggesting Full moon party island Ko Phangan- just 200 miles East of Phuket, could also face an enhanced threat.
