Thai Authorities Reconsider Producing Poison Pills

Thailand's Prime Minister has back-pedalled over plans to introducing rogue methamphetamine pills into the country's drug markets to deter and presumably punish, local users.

"I want the Public Health Ministry to talk to psychiatrists and chemists on whether the government should produce drugs that give people head-aches and nausea," said Mr Thaksin Shinawatra last Monday (August 20). He changed his mind, according to reports on the net, several days later.
