Press agents for homelands have denied reports in this week's British tabloids suggesting that So Solid Crew might be dropped from the bill. A report in the Daily Star suggested the South London collective face being banned over concerns about possible violence, following complaints made to local council Winchester.

"The history of this group was brought to our attention and we have now asked the police to come back to us with their thoughts," said council licensing officer Fred Masters. "If the police have concerns then we will reconsider the state of the licence."

Homelands' press office subsequently denied that the band's appearance is in any doubt, telling skrufff, "So Solid Crew are playing."
