So Solid Member Attacked In Jail

Asher D, the So Solid star currently in jail awaiting sentencing for gun possession, has been attacked by a fellow inmate, the Sun reported this week.

"On Tuesday morning someone just walked up and lamped (thumped) him in the face," an ex-prisoner who witnessed the assault, told the tabloid.

"He went flying back but stood his ground. He didn't retaliate- the guy who hit him is a bit of a nutter (madman)."

The incident reportedly happened on Asher D's second day in the notoriously violent Feltham Young Offenders Institute and drew howls of derision from Johnny Rotten from the Sex Pistols, the band the Crew have been most frequently compared to.

"Fucking right he's been attacked in prison," Rotten told NME.

"I've been to jail. You better be the real fucking deal when you get there. And I'm still smiling. That's the difference."
