Smoke Weed and Lose Weight, British Union Proposes

Female delegates from Britain's biggest trade union Unison are to debate legalising cannabis on the grounds that it's a "less fattening way to chill out" (the Guardian.) The union will be presenting legalisation as a women's issue at their annual conference in Cardiff next month, reportedly on the grounds that their 900,000 female members need stress relief from "the growing tensions of working life."

"Cannabis can be used for women to relax without calories, in contrast to alcohol or chocolate," the bill will propose.
