Sasha Claims He's An Honorary Scouser

Progressive house and trance champion Sasha plays his first UK club gig of the year this weekend (June 29) when he spins at Liverpool's Cream. Somewhat surprisingly, he also renounced his Manchester roots, in a curious homily to its rival city.

"Even though Manchester was my home, it feels like a homecoming every time I come back to Cream," said Sasha.

"So many mates from that area and the north of England come out when I play Cream. It's always so special."
