Philadelphia's Ursula Rucker Looks To London

Hugely talented Philadelphia hip hop star Ursula Rucker has selected remixers from London for her next single Seven, which comes out on Studio K7 on September 30.

Attica Blues, Herbert (aka Dr Rockit) and Phil Asher (aka Restless Soul) are the trio chosen to rework the track, which, in its original form, has distinctive shades of Massive Attack at their best. Also appearing is Mad, whose Tricky-esque delivery contracts warmly with Rucker's uniquely sultry vocal delivery.

In keeping with the rest of the tracks on her recent album Supa Sister (on which it appears), Seven is soulful smooth hip hop of the highest quality and the remixes here both compliment and enhance the original.
