Fresh off of November 2001¹s The Politics of Dancing, his first double-CD collection of remixes, and its subsequent tour, Paul van Dyk has kept himself extremely busy with many other projects. Paul has just finished composing the soundtrack for the Mexican film, La Mano del Zurdo, which premieres in October. He has recently been in the studio, working on the title song for the Australian movie, One Perfect Day, scheduled for release in 2003.

In addition to his studio work, and in the midst of his American 2002 summer tour, Paul will also be spinning in Tokyo on June 29 (the day before the World Cup Final) and appearing at The Love from Above Party in Berlin - which links two storied German venues, ColumbiaFritz and Columbiahalle (the namesake for Paul¹s early 2001 EP, Columbia) - for a giant party serving 6000 revelers. From Mexico to Australia, Tokyo to America, Paul van Dyk is proving that his global trekking is the result of a musical reputation based upon magnificent creativity in the studio, and the solid control of the turntables in front of a live audience.

Thrusting his talent and creativity two steps ahead of the competition, Van Dyk pioneers a more refined, energized sound of the future - incredibly dynamic, melodic, and full of depth. How do you say brilliant- - Billboard
