Superstar German DJ Paul Van Dyk has confirmed he'll be honouring commitments to perform in both the Philippines and Malaysia, despite official warnings this week that Westerners should exercise "extreme caution" in local night clubs.

"The (Bali) bombing has had no effect on Paul's touring plans, we will still include Manila and KL (Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur)," Paul's manager Markus Nisch told Skrufff.

"He won't be playing Indonesia but that decision was made before the attack."

His decision is both impressive and brave, given the official advise issued by both British and Australian this week, warning of specific terror threats against the two countries, particularly the Philippines were several people died in bomb attacks this week.

"Threats against Australians and Australian interests in the Philippines are high, given possible terrorist action and civil disorder. Further bomb explosions are possible across the country, including in Manila," Australian authorities advised.

Recognising the seriousness of the situation, Van Dyk, however, remains determined, his manager stressed.

Paul was really shocked about the world wide bomb attack and he's very sad that this is happening in so many different places worldwide," he said.

"But he doesn't think that it has a specific effect on the dance scene, rather a general effect on us all.

We all should continue to live and not let the terror affect our lives in the way the extremists would like. We are all humans and we should respect each other no matter what race or religion".

Van Dyk is scheduled to be DJing throughout South East Asia from November 28th, when he spins at Bangkok's Ministry Of Sound.
