ON TRACK WITH ANNE SAVAGE

Ever popular and ever versatile, DJ Anne Savage has been hand picked to host the first on board audio entertainment channel being introduced on Virgin's new fleet of trains.

Anne, no stranger to presenting, will hit the tracks in June, when the new fleet of Pendolino trains is introduced across the Virgin network. The channel entitled EUPHORIC is produced by Inflight Productions - responsible for providing entertainment to a multitude of airlines, including Virgin Atlantic.

Anne, who has just completed filming for a BBC programme about World clubbing, was also part of the hugely popular, and BAFTA award winning programme - 'Faking It', shown on Channel 4 and still repeated today! She has also presented programmes for Rapture Television out of Ibiza, and radio programmes for the Ministry of Sound. That, combined with various stints for BBC Radio 1 clearly highlights the fact that Miss Savage is becoming a popular choice of presenter.

Piers Leighton, a producer at Inflight said: we chose Anne Savage for Euphoric as she has the glamour and edge that fits perfectly with the Virgin Brand. Her down to earth Northern delivery acknowledges there's a vibrant club scene outside of London which is important to a National rail network.

Euphoric will air on the new "Pendolino" stock from June this year.
