Nukleuz Beat the Majors to Win Best Dance Label Award

Nukleuz Records, the independent British label still most associated with hard house, won Music Week's prestigious "Best Dance Label" awards this week, not least through selling 130,139 12" singles last year.

"Nukleuz are really proud to have won this accolade, particularly as they don't set out to play the industry games of charts, radio and TV," said label chief Peter Pritchard.

"In fact, Nukleuz had no Top 40 hits, no videos and no playlists on any major radio stations."
