NME Re-embrace Heavy Rock

Diminishing indie weekly NME appear to be embracing 80s style heavy rock, judging by a typically scathing review of Luke Slater's new electro single I Can't Complete You.

"How terribly passe'. Never one to miss a fad (-), the doughty Slater perfectly captures the retro-fitted, clinically debauched thrills of last Spring," spat Julian Marshall. "Haven't you heard- We're into heavy rock now".

NME is now firmly under the stewardship of former Muzik editor Conor McNicholas, who judging by the title's new musical direction, appears to have been a closet metalhead throughout his entire reign at Muzik.
