Muzik magazine's circulation has collapsed to its lowest level ever, selling just 36,000 copies per month, according to the latest circulation figures. Ministry Magazine also reported a dramatic decline, selling 10,000 less copies year on year for the six month period between December and June.

The collapse in sales for both titles contrasted with Mix Mag who maintained their market leading circulation of 100,000 (losing just 0.1%) indicating that their poor performances cannot be blamed on the market.

Muzik's near 20% drop in circulation coincided with the editorship of Conor McNicholas, who recently left the title to take over NME. The title also sold just over 24,000 copies in the UK, narrowly remaining above bi-weekly title DJ Magazine (20,000) and Scottish based monthly M8 (23,000).
