Dylan Barnes from British dirty house duo Mutiny added his voice to calls for Tony Blair's government to stay out of a war on Iraq, telling Skrufff this week "I'm very much against sending in bombers and killing innocent civilians."

Dylan was speaking 12 months after he last chatted to Skrufff, when he'd warned against the consequences of George Bush attacking Afghanistan.

"It was pretty obvious to me then and we're still in the same situation today aren't we- Has Bush solved anything-" said Dylan.

"I can't see that he's healed anything and his retribution hasn't done any good because he hasn't even caught the man he was after in the first place and a lot more people have died."

I'm very much against a war on Iraq," he continued.

"I appreciate what they're saying about Saddam being a very dangerous man but I'm very much against sending in bombers and killing innocent civilians, many of whom don't seem to want him in power anyway. It doesn't make sense to me.

Dylan was chatting to Skrufff principally about Mutiny's music, including the duo's new single Ya 'Self (out on Darren Emerson's label Underwater on September 16.) and stressed that his views were personal.

"Public opinion in Europe now is that we shouldn't attack Iraq and that will hopefully persuade (Tony) Blair not to back Bush," said Dylan. "Fingers crossed."
