Moby has challenged US authorities over their refusal to come clean over the escalating Enron scandal, suggesting President Bush's recent actions "seem a bit fishy".

"If the Bush administration has nothing to hide, then why don't they release their documents to the GAO- (General Accounting Office, the Congress led team leading the investigation)," he wrote on his website this week.

"For the GAO to sue a federal entity for the first time since the signing of the declaration of independence is a pretty big deal. But the Bush administration is saying that they don't need to turn over the documents. Well, if the documents aren't incriminating, why not just turn them over- Just curious."
