Moby: Q Magazine Awards Nomination

Moby has been nominated for the Best Producer award for his "18" album at the Q Magazine Awards 2002. He joins a short list that includes Rick Rubin for The Red Hot Chili Peppers‚ "By The Way", Tony Visconti and David Bowie for "Heathen", Weezer and Tom Lord-Alge for Weezer‚s "Maladroit" and Ken Nelson, Mark Pythian and Coldplay for "Rush Of Blood To The Head". The winner will be announced at the ceremony in London on the 21st of October.

Moby will release a new single on Mute on the 4th of November to coincide with his first UK Tour for nearly two years.

"In This World", the follow up to "Extreme Ways" is one of the highlights from Moby's Number 1 album "18", released earlier this year. Released on CD and 12", "In This World" comes backed with two exclusive new tracks, "Piano & Strings" and "Downhill".

Moby recently won the "Best Cinematography In A Video" award for 'We Are All Made Of Stars' at the recent MTV Video Music Awards in a shortlist that included, amongst others Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott and Alicia Keys.

Moby will visit the UK in November 2002, his first UK live dates since 2000, as part of an extensive World Tour.
