Moby Blames 9/11 On US Oil Interests

America's continuing reliance on oil and fossil fuels caused the terrorist attacks of September 11, according to the world's most popular dance producer Moby

"Why did Osama bin Laden attack the U.S- Because American troops are in
Saudi Arabia. Why are American troops in Saudi Arabia- To protect our oil interests there. It's frustrating," wrote Moby on his website.

"I have no problem with capitalism except when it leads us into situations (like our reliance upon foreign oil) that are so fucking stupid and illogical."

In more Moby news, his label Mute have confirmed that his hugely anticipated new album 18 will be released on 13th May and will be "expanding on and updating" his last album Play. Echoing a technique often used by Paul McCartney, Moby plays every single instrument on the album and also sings on four of the tracks.
