Ministry Of Sound's now annual New Year's Eve bash at London's Millennium Dome is aiming to attract 50,000 revellers this year, in what will be their most ambitious event yet.

"The Dome this New Years Eve will be the world's biggest indoor party with 50 DJ's performing in five arenas to 50,000 people," promised Ministry MD Mark Rodol.

"We've learnt a lot in the past couple of years, which means we're planning loads more bars, a massive cloakroom and even more loos (toilets)."

Tickets will cost £50 each with discounts for early purchase and will offer revellers 12 hours of music from 7pm to 7am. An additional heated bar area is also being set up from 4pm for early arrivals, meaning a full 15 hours of fun is on offer.

Ministry's decision to expand this year's event is a bold one given the well-documented problems affecting their rival superclub brands and its success or otherwise will provide another interesting indicator of the health of mainstream clubbing.
